Microwave Sickness?

Microwave Sickness?

EMFs and Microwaves making us sick?

There’s a great deal of rising concern around Electro Magnetic Fields (EMFs) and how they are affecting our health and life. There are three types of EMFs; Electric Fields (EFs), Magnetic Fields (MFs), and Radio Frequencies (RFs). Each of these are energy waves produced by electricity and electronic devices. A great deal of time and research has been devoted to the affects of these waves and whether or not they’re making us sick.

Everyone has a cell phone now.

In my front right pocket, about 95% of the time, you’ll find a device that produces Radio Frequencies. Our cell phones are constantly receiving and transmitting RFs. I don’t think about it when I’m scrolling through Facebook for the 50th time today, but they’re there, and they’re affecting our health.

Are people more sickly now-a-days?

As a child I don’t remember as many people being so sickly. Of course, some people who were generally unhealthy would be sick frequently. Now that I’m an adult I see and hear of perfectly healthy people having frequent headaches, and insomnia. Maybe that was always the case. Maybe my generation is weaker or whinier? Or maybe there’s something else to consider.

Are our electronics making us sick?

According to an article from the National Center of Biotechnology Information (NCBI) there is something that might be explaining some of the more common ailments you or your family might be experiencing.

Microwave Sickness sounds like some strange anti-microwave oven propaganda from the 1950’s, but it is a real concern. Also called Electro-Hyper-Sensitivity (EHS), this sickness is a constellation of symptoms. It can very wildly in exactly how someone presents their sensitivity. Headaches, insomnia, fatigue, appetite loss are all symptoms of EHS. How can you tell if your computer or cellphone is making you sick? Well it’s probably time to take an extended break. Unplug and increase your inactivity on social media.

There’s still research happening on RFs and Microwave sickness, so hopefully we can get to the bottom of just how its effecting our health and how we can start to feel better. But one thing everyone seems to agree on: we should all unplug once and awhile.
